Using lazy property fetching in Grails / Gorm

Question

is there any way to use lazy property fetching in Grails / Gorm ? somtehing like:

@Basic(fetch = FetchType.LAZY)

annotation ( it also works with left join fetch?)

(for example lazy loading of an String attribute)
