HTTP Error 500.19 when publish .net core project into iis

I want to publish a sample .net core web application on my pc's IIS manager but I failed. I am using Microsoft guidance but it doesn't work for me, if you have reasonable experience to fix this problem I would be grateful to see your suggestions. The identity under which your web application runs in IIS doesn't have full access to the folder in which the web.config file is found. Which version of IIS are you using? Assuming 7, you can view/change the identity through the 'Advanced Settings' of the application pool that hosts your application. Folder permissions can be granted via Windows

How to publish a JSP project on the Internet using Tomcat web server?

I want to publish my JSP project on the Internet from my PC using Tomcat web server. How can I do that? Here's how I would do it. I would go to dyndns.org and get a free, contrived host name and DNS entry. I would set up the dyndns agent on my machine to keep the IP up to date. These 2 steps will give you a an "internet host name" that anyone can look up. Then I would configure my DSL router's firewall to let through port 80 from the outside. Now, you have a live port 80 "on the internet". (Mind, this assumes your ISP lets you do this.) Now, you install Tomcat on your machine, and configure it

ASP.NET WebSite Publishing vs. Copying?

I have faced a lot of issues with Publishing like when you need to make small changes on the code, sometimes the generated DLL file (the dll file for example of default.aspx.CS when published) cannot be recognized by IIS saying the codebehind is wrong or something. Sorry for not remembering the exact error message. I am hoping you know what I mean at this point. Therefore, I usually do a simple Copy Paste operation instead of Publishing. Could you tell me what am I missing by NOT using the Publish method? How is Publishing better? Or which one do you prefer, why? Basically its a pros and cons

How do I keep MSDeploy from deleting extra folders in my project?

I am using the MSBuild runner in Team city to build and deploy my project to a staging environment. Everything works perfectly except for the fact that it keeps removing my repository folder located in the root of the project. In Visual Studio 2010 there is a check box in the publish profile dialog that says "Leave extra files on destination (do not delete)" Is there a way to accomplish the same thing with MSBuild? <Target Name="Deploy" DependsOnTargets="Build;Test"> <MSBuild Projects="MyProject.sln" Properties="Configuration=$(Configuration); username=username; password=password;

Precompile during publish for Azure Web Services

We are using Azure Web Services ( not Web-sites ) and run ASP.Net MVC 5.1 application inside it. When I publish web-sites through Web-deploy, I have an option to "Precompile during publishing": When I publish to Azure Web Services, I can't find this option anywhere. Any pointers? The idea is to pre-compile views, so first hit to a view would not be time-penalised by compiling on the fly. I've looked on Razor Generator but it does not suit our needs. I've seen few other options, but compiling views at publishing stage makes the most sense for our case. UPD: Just for my reference, I've tried

Event on key expire

问题 I wonder if there is a feature in redis that allow me to get all expired keys (I mean some kind of event, that gives me an opportunity to take back all expire records). The purpose of it is in saving old values into another database. I've heard that it's possible using publishing mechanism, but google can't help we with this idea. 回答1: Current development version of redis contains a new feature: keyspace notifications. Documentation: http://redis.io/topics/notifications Keyspace notifications

AfterPublish script doesn't run when I publish a web app

I've got an ASP.NET web app that I publish to our website when I make changes or fix bugs. We want to automatically save a backup of the project files to our server (separate from the SVN check in), so I wrote a batch file to copy the entire project from my local drive to the server. The batch file works properly when run stand alone, so that's not the problem. The batch file is not in the path of the project if that's a concern. Then I added these lines to my .csproj file right above the closing </project> tag: <Target Name="AfterPublish" > <Exec Command="C:\deg\bat\backupRMA.cmd" /> </Target

I am wanting to use Visual Web Developer Express 2010 to publish a website, pre-compiled to a remote server over FTP using the following settings: Deploy only files needed to run this application Precompile this application before publishing Allow website to be updatable No databases are being deployed Site is being deployed as file hierarchy, not as .zip package My first build/deploy seemed to have gone well, but after my second compilation I receive the following error: Transformed web.config using C:\path_to_site\Web.Debug.config into obj\Debug\TransformWebConfig\transformed\web.config.

MSBuild DeployOnBuild=true not publishing

I have a Visual Studio 2010 MVC2 web application that I'm building via the command line using Hudson. I'd like to make Hudson publish a web output, so I added the DeployOnBuild=true and CreatePackageOnPublish=True tags to my command line. My command is: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\MSBuild.exe /target:Clean,Build /property:Configuration=Debug;DeployOnBuild=True;CreatePackageOnPublish=True; [my project name.csproj] Running this command on my development machine (Windows 7) successfully publishes a web output to \obj\Debug\Package\PackageTmp\ . But running it on the Hudson

Application (Not a Markup Language) for Producing a User Manual [closed]

Can anyone recommend a program to create user manuals with? Not a markup language (like LaTeX or DocBook) but more something interactive like Scribus. As I'm not the only one that will update the manual the software should be something that's easy for a novice to pick up but still has some advanced features (like linking in text from external sources/tables, handling masterpages/themes etc.).
