Selenium, automated frontend testing on different OS

问题 My complete working environment is Linux based (Ubuntu for desktop and server). I use Hudson and Selenium to execute tests on my EE6/ZK web application with any browser available for Ubuntu. But how would I test my application with IE (Windows) without setting up a Selenium server in Windows. Thought I could run Windows in a VMWare or Virtualbox, but still it needs a "local" selenium and how would I trigger it ? Install hudson as well and pretty much replicate the complete CI in Windows ? How

问题 I'm using fontello font-icons. They work perfectly except with Internet Explorer. They do not react also with the hover status and so... The problem I'm getting at this moment is a trange underline under the font-icon. I already tried text-decoration, border-bottom... Do anybody have any solution for this: This is my CSS code, I'm using SASS in this project: nav{ a{ width: 60px; height: $height-header-nav-tablet; float: left; line-height: 50px; text-align: center; @media screen and (min-width

问题 I'm trying to simply align a set of text and <input> elements to the right, so that the left side of the inputs always aligns at the same location (they are the same width, so what's really happening is the right side is aligned to the right side of their container), and the left side of the label text is jagged. It's not ideal for a large form, but for what I need, it looks better that way. Here's the HTML and CSS (also at this jsfiddle): HTML: <div id="pullthrough-control-panel"> <div class

问题 I am using <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge"> in head tag. But, when I am running my application on IE9, then it is using Browser Mode : IE9 Compat View . I want my application to use only Browser Mode : IE9 , not Compat view. 回答1: I realize I'm a bit late on this but here's what I have used and it has worked for me: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge,chrome=1"> Make sure this is the FIRST meta tag in the head of your document (I put it directly after the

问题 I tried to implement this code, here is the link. It works in Chrome, whereas in IE 11 it gives an error 'SharedWorker' is undefined . But according to caniuse, WebWorkers are supported in IE 11. Does anyone know who is right? 回答1: Web workers are indeed supported in IE 11, but shared workers not. HTML: How common is it that different browsers render 1em at a different actual px size?

问题 As you know, you can specify dimensions with CSS in px or em. As far as I understand it, em means "line height of the current element's fonts". My approach currently is to always use px (also for margin which seems to be a controversial practice). Question: Can I rely on the ratio of px and em to be the same across browsers ? If not, then my manually specified margins between paragraphs will likely look odd because they so not match 1em anymore. I believe that it is better to use em for

问题 Sorry,I am not sure it is suitable to ask this question here. But this question has bother me for a long time. I tried to use $(window).height() to get visible area height of whole page. I works fine on almost every browser. But it acts weird under IE9 and it's compatibility mode. When I drag the border of browser window and tried to resize it,the value of $(window).height() become larger and larger, even if I tried to make the window smaller. I tried some other method like document

问题 It has to be simple, here's my CSS: .progressImage { position:relative; top:50%; } .progressPanel { height:100%; width:100%; text-align:center; display:none; } <asp:Panel ID="pnlProgress" runat="server" CssClass="progressPanel"> <asp:Image ID="Image1" runat="server" CssClass="progressImage" ImageUrl="~/Images/Icons/loading.gif" /> </asp:Panel> I toggle panel display depending on user action. Works great in FireFox, but shows up at the top of the page in Safari. p.s. "vertical-align:middle;"

Different Interpretation of TH Box Model Between Browsers

问题 I'm noticing discrepancies between browsers in how the width of a TH tag is interpreted, specifically whether or not padding is included in the width calculation. I am building a reusable library for quickly generating and styling tables (for tabular data, of course). This means that I have full control over the code I generate, but that I need to actually solve the problem versus finding a hack for a particular instance. Simplest Description of the Problem A TH in IE9 and FF is sized based

I'm considering a project that involves the browser user being able to screen capture the contents of any web page (preferably the whole page, not just the visible portion), do some simple annotation on the image (circles, arrows, underlines, text labels) and send the annotated image to the server. I see that
