问题 I am trying to restrict the permissions for a specific AD group on a branch level. Previously I have asked the Microsoft Azure DevOps team if they had any endpoint URI REST API for this request, but the response that I have got was that it was not currently available. However, I have managed to get the API using the chrome developer tool, which was https://dev.azure.com/{organization}/_apis/accesscontrolentries/{namespacetoken}?api-version=5.1 Then, I am making the POST request using this

问题 I have to work from computers owned by customer. Our work's code is managed under a Azure Dev Ops repository, where I log in using my personal Microsoft Account. In order to reduce risk, I created a personal account with minimal rights within my Azure Devops dashboard. How can I setup git to use this PAT without prompting for my Microsoft Account ? Right now, each time a remote operation is triggered, a modal opens, asking for username/password. If I close it, it reopens. I close again and I

Giving a script Git access to a single Azure Repo

问题 I want to poll an Azure Repo for changes with Git. A personal access token from my account would give it too much permissions. Should I create a new user in Azure AD, add it to Azure Repo with read only and use it in the script? Or is there a better way than creating real users. 回答1: If you want to allow your git script to only access one specific Azure Repo. I'm afraid you will need to create a new user as a service account. After the service account is created and added to your azure devops

问题 My team is currently using Team Foundation Server with the TFSVC for version control. I'm wanting us to move over to using Git within TFS. I had the TFS team setup Git for our team. However, I would like to organize our projects into folders if possible. Example might be a folder for HR and one for Finance and one for Training, etc. Then I would have a project Repo under those folders depending on the what it's for. Right now we have about 170 projects which is why I would like to organize

Add condition on stage to check the changes on folder

问题 I have both server side (web api using c#) and client side (angular) code in same branch. I have created separate stage for both server side and client side code to build, and one more stage to deploy. If I check in code in either of client side or server side the all the 3 stages run. To avoid this I am looking for ways to add conditions at stage level so that if there are server side changes then only Server stage will run, if the checked in code has only client side code then only Client
