问题 I use a 3rd party project, that produces huge amount of warnings. I disable all of them in VS project properties. Sometimes, I switch to LLVM clang-cl toolset to check for warnings from clang. The 3rd party project produces so many warnings with clang-cl that VS is chocking with the amount of output. I know how to disable them, I do so through command line args, for example: Wno-int-conversion -Wno-shift-op-parentheses etc. The problem, however, when I switch back to VS toolset, all of these

问题 I`ve searched a lot and found different inforamation but unfortuantely could not understand Visual Studio 2019 fully supports C++20 or not! According to my searches, there are 3 types of information: Concepts and Modules are fully and partially supported, respectively. There is no support for Couroutines and Ranges . Also, Modules is still at the experimental stage. There is no support except for Concepts . All features are fully supported in MSVC and CLANG. I`ve asked this question because I

VS2019: How to resolve the “unknown sub-lang: 0x8” message in Resource View?

问题 I have recently started using Visual Studio 2019 for my C++11 project. VS2019 converted the project and it compiles into an executable. But I can't open my resource (.rc) file in the Resource Viewer. It gives me this warning: A resource in this file uses an unknown language: Neutral (Default) (unknown sub-lang: 0x8). Unable to open this file. I tried trimming the resource file to bare necessity but that did not work. The strange thing is that it also happens with Scribble, Microsofts example
