问题 By default when we start iPhone simulator it has only few apps installed. Is it possible to install other system apps (such as phone, text, map etc) OR or other native apps (such as facebook etc) on my simulator? 回答1: Nope. Different architectures—native apps are built for an ARM CPU, simulator apps for an x86 one. The binaries are totally incompatible. 回答2: This is not possible at the moment. 回答3: This is NOT possible The Simulator does not run ARM code, ONLY x86 code. Unless you have the

lib commonCrypto not available for iOS simulator?

I've been adding libCommonCrypto.dylib to my project to do md5 hash verification. Works all proper on the iPhone (iOS 5.1), but when I try to run it on the simulator, I get this error: ld: library not found for -lcommonCrypto clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) I'm a bit clueless why this happens. I added the commonCrypto to the project target -> build phase -> link binary with libraries. Is there any additional step required to get it working also in the simulator? You don't have to add that dynamic library. It is available by default in iphoneOS >>

How can i uninstall apps from tvOS simulator? I already tried to long press the icon, but no "close button" appears. I know, this is a Beta version, maybe in future they'll implement something like iOS. Thank you. Method 1 From Home Screen: Settings->General->Manage Storage And here you can uninstall your apps. Method 2 As suggested Jess. Long press on the remote. Apps start to wiggle. Hit the play/pause button. You will be presented with a delete dialog. Long press on the remote. Apps start to wiggle. Adding image objects to wpf with code

I'm a rookie at C# and WPF and I'm trying to create a simple car-simulator. Mainly the idea of the simulator is that I have C#-class that creates car-objects that have for example speed variable that can be changed and timer for moving from left to right. I want to do movement with timer and not for example doubleanimation . In WPF I have AddCarButton for adding cars in certain points in Canvas. The problem is I dont know how to add cars to Canvas. This is very frustrating because it doesn't sound like a big thing to do but I feel like I have tried everything and not succeeded. This is latest

Since 2 days, when starting the app in the emulator it opens the app 1/4 of the screen size. iPhone 6 and tested it with the iPhone 6 Plus as well... even home is quarter-sized 'Cleaned' the project, 'Reset contents and settings' of the iOS simulator. But still not solved. Quiting and relaunching the simulator did not work. As you can see in the bottom screenshot changing the scale does not help. The problem does not apear in version 'Xcode 7 Beta 4'. Henry I am quite new in iOS. I had the same problem, this is what I did and resolved 1 - xcode 7.1.1. 2 - In the file Inspector, right hand Pane

starting a microcontroller simulator/emulator

I would like to create/start a simulator for the following microcontroller board: http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=707# The firmware is written in assembly so I'm looking for some pointers on how one would go about simulating the inputs that the hardware would receive and then the simulator would respond to the outputs from the firmware. (which would also require running the firmware in the simulated environment). Any pointers on how to start? Thanks Chris Alex Fort Writing a whole emulator is going to be a real challenge. I've attempted to write an ARM emulator
