It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. I have been doing some light OpenGL programming for a couple of months and now I want to write a screensaver using the xscreensaver library. I saw How to develop linux screen saver before asking this but I think that particular question is not specific enough. What I have done already - I downloaded the

问题 I have a screensaver written in C# which takes a screenshot of the Desktop and displays it as the, guess what, screensaver. This works pretty well except in Windows 8 where the screensaver launches in, what looks like, a separate Desktop with a solid background and thus i am only taking a screenshot of this solid background instead of the actual desktop. This only counts if the screensaver is launched by the timeout by windows itself, not if you execute the screensaver directly (by double

I want my screensaver appears in the screensaver preview box? When you make a screen saver you need to support a command line argument (/p [HWND]) that will tell you in which windows to show your screen saver. The command line will be pass to you thru the screen saver control panel. here is a link to the full spec . You can start the screen saver, get it's window handle then change it's parent to your forms handle or panel's handle or wherever you want it. 来源: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/903180/how-to-make-a-screen-saver-preview-in-delphi

How to programmatically dismiss the screensaver/lock screen on Android (Nook Simple Touch)

问题 I wrote a simple alarm-clock style application that I run on my (jailbroken) Nook Simple Touch (aka NST), under Android 2.1. When the scheduled alarm time arrives, my application needs to wake up the NST and display a page of HTML content. I use AlarmManager to get a callback at the right time, and it seems to work as expected -- almost. The problem occurs when enough idle time has passed that the NST has activated its lock-screen mode (i.e. it is auto-displaying a caricature of a famous

问题 Ok, so I found some code to check if a screensaver is running and kill it if I want to. This doesn't seem to work on Windows 7 PCs. Does anyone know how this code can be modified, or provide new code to accomplish this? My application is designed to run in the background until a particular event occurs, and then create and display a full screen notification. This needs to be displayed even if a screen saver is currently up. Thanks in advance for your help. 回答1: The easiest way is to fake a

Interrupt an active screensaver programmatically?

REASON: I'm working on an emergency alert application that needs to display information on a desktop. When the client receives an alert, it pops up a window. If a screensaver is active or the monitor is in standby the alert will not be visible. I'm wondering if it's possible to wake the computer up via some sort of programatic mouse move or system call so that the alert would be visible. I think the reason a mouse move or keypress wakes it up is because of a hardware interrupt so it may not be possible. Currently, the project is being implemented in C#. I'm interested to hear about solutions

How does screen savers work on Mac OS X and Linux?

In Windows a screen saver is just an executable with a .scr extension dumped in the system32, and it is controlled with three switches (/p, /c and /s, I think). How does screen savers work on Mac OS X and Linux? Do they work similarly in Mac OS X and Linux (Gnome, KDE, Ubuntu, or wherever the difference is) or is it completely different? Also, can they be developed in C#/Mono? The screensaver system in OSX is that a screensaver (typically, but not necessarily) is an Objective-C library, extending a base class to implement methods such as drawing, a preference pane, a preview mode and so on.
