问题 We use msbuild to build our .NET application on a server dedicated to builds. We are migrating to new hardware which has 64 bit Windows 2003. I can build the application using the 64 bit version of msbuild found in Framework64 or I can build it using the 32 bit verison found in Framework. Is there any advantage to building with the 64 bit version of msbuild? 回答1: Not particularly no. The only real advantage is that the 64 bit version of msbuild will be able to take advantage of more address

问题 We're trying to publish a ClickOnce application through MSBuild. We've got it working fine for an installed version of the Windows application. However, when we set install to false, so that it just runs the application from the web, we get the following error when we try to run the application from the URL: "Deployment and application do not have matching security zones" This works fine in Internet Explorer. We only get the error message in Chrome and FireFox. Here is a sample of the project

MSBuild Using Wrong Version of Assembly to Compile RDLC File

问题 I am using the reportviewer control from VS 2010 to create client side reports (rdlc). Everything is working fine on my development machine, and when I manually compile (via VS2010) and manually deploy to a test machine that doesn't have development tools installed. In order to get the test machine to work (without installing VS2010 or ReportViewer.exe), I had to add references in my project to Microsoft.ReportViewer.Winforms, Microsoft.ReportViewer.Common and Microsoft.ReportViewer

How to chain TFS builds?

问题 I have a scenario where I want to call one TFS build from another, the first one does the build and the second one does staging. This will allow me do multiple custom staging for the same solution. I know, I can pull this off with an exec task in the second build and call tfsbuild.exe to queue a build from the first build definition. But was wondering if someone knew of a better way? 回答1: It depends what you are trying to do. 1) Do you want the build + staging to run as one operation? So that

Could such a "batch metadata copy" be conditioned? Something like:

Can I get a “sometimes portable” class library project to load in Visual Studio Express?

问题 For Noda Time version 1.1, the main goal is to build a Portable Class Library flavour, primarily to support Windows Phone and Windows Store apps. This means losing some functionality, so we build a desktop configuration and a PCL configuration (for each of debug, release, and "signed release"). To avoid having to work with umpteen project files, all of the 6 configurations exist in the same project file. The project file is customized to generate a property called "Portability", which is set

Is it possible to publish multiple database projects as a transaction? If not, can I at least make sure that each Project is published within a transaction? 回答1: For anybody else who found this question, but didn't know where to look: There is a publish setting, "Include transactional scripts", that begins a transaction at the start of the publish script. 问题 We just had an XBAP/WBA project added to our build server. It uses a PFX file for signing. I imported the PFX file to the CruiseControl.NET service certificate store, and can see it in the certificate store for the service.
