问题 iCloud Drive Folder doesn't show my app's folder. This is how I send a file to iCloud Drive: - (IBAction)btnStoreTapped:(id)sender { // Let's get the root directory for storing the file on iCloud Drive [self rootDirectoryForICloud:^(NSURL *ubiquityURL) { NSLog(@"1. ubiquityURL = %@", ubiquityURL); if (ubiquityURL) { // We also need the 'local' URL to the file we want to store //NSURL *localURL = [NSURL fileURLWithPath:[[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"Photo" ofType:@"pdf"]]; NSURL

问题 I was wondering if it was possible to use iCloud to sync an app's preferences file between devices. The preference file I am talking about is the com.domain.appname.plist file created by NSUserDafults to store the app's preferences. I would like to have the option of keeping my app's preferences file in sync between two different devices (an iPad and an iPhone, for example). Is this an acceptable use of iCloud syncing? Or would I need to convert the plist file into a different type of

More iCloud Core Data synching woes

问题 So, it finally happened. The worst case scenario for any independent iPhone developer occurred. Several users are reporting complete data loss after upgrading my app. iCloud Core Data sync is not working. My users are using this app partially to run their businesses. This is a truly catastrophic failure . The only iCloud related thing I changed was to add the key-value store to iCloud. The core data code remained exactly the same, same model version (no migration) etc. In my tests everything

As a beginner, I'm struggling with iCloud. There are some samples, but they are usually quite detailed (on the developer forum there is one for iCloud and CoreData which is massive). The apple docs are OK, but I still can't see the big picture. So please bear with me, some of these questions are quite fundamental, but possibly easy to answer. Context: I have a very simple iCloud app running (full sample code below). There is only one UITextView shown to the user and his/her input is saved in a file called text.txt. The txt file is pushed to the cloud and made available to all devices. Works

问题 I want to have my app save the documents it creates to iCloud Drive, but I am having a hard time following along with what Apple has written. Here is what I have so far, but I'm not for sure where to go from here. UPDATE2 I have the following in my code to manually save a document to iCloud Drive: - (void)initializeiCloudAccessWithCompletion:(void (^)(BOOL available)) completion { dispatch_async(dispatch_get_global_queue(DISPATCH_QUEUE_PRIORITY_DEFAULT, 0), ^{ self.ubiquityURL = [

问题 I want to set Do not back up to my folder which is in Document Directory . I found code for \"Do not back up\" , but how do i verify that the folder is marked. 回答1: According to the docs you linked, if you set the method up exactly how they have it listed on that page, the method will return YES if the attribute is marked correctly. 回答2: For iOS 5.1, run the app in the simulator, and run the following command in the Terminal: xattr {filename} You should see the following if the item is
