Http request and response in Angular 2.0

问题 I am stuck in a problem, where my webservice (written in Spring boot) takes 5-6 minutes for a http response. I send a http post request from angular but chrome waits for only 2 minutes gives me a null response since there was no response from server. But server will give a response after 5 minutes. So how can I implement this scenario, since I think my http connection closes after 2 minutes and I want to extend it till 5-6 minutes. FYI I have already used rxjs timeout function but it doesn't

How to decrease TCP connect() system call timeout?

In command below I enable file /dev/tcp/10.10.10.1/80 both for reading and writing and associate it with file descriptor 3: $ time exec 3<>/dev/tcp/10.10.10.1/80 bash: connect: Operation timed out bash: /dev/tcp/10.10.10.1/80: Operation timed out real 1m15.151s user 0m0.000s sys 0m0.000s This automatically tries to perform TCP three-way handshake. If 10.10.10.1 is not reachable as in example above, then connect system call tries to connect for 75 seconds. Is this 75 second timeout determined by bash ? Or is this system default? Last but not least, is there a way to decrease this timeout value?

Hibernate / MySQL connection timeouts — Trying to deal with thread-pooled executors not releasing Hibernate connections to C3P0 after exit

I have a Tomcat application that uses MySQL, and Hibernate for ORM. The nature of our application demands that we have to pull and aggregate a lot of analytics data from a NoSQL store for each request , so we split the pulling and aggregating for each request into several tasks and delegate those to a thread-pooled executor service. When each thread performs a task, it needs to query / update MySQL regarding certain things so it borrows Hibernate sessions from C3P0 ( which we use for connection pooling ). Essential config : <property name="current_session_context_class">thread</property>

What is the default timeout for AngularJS $http service requests?

In $http docs it does not mention which is the default timeout in case of undefined. How can I know which is the default value for this configuration? At one time the default timeout for http requests was 30 seconds, but now many browsers perform "keep-alive" polling by default so in all practicality there isn't one. I've had http requests sit for several minutes before the server itself finally gave up and issued a timeout. 来源: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/37547229/what-is-the-default-timeout-for-angularjs-http-service-requests

I want to display apologizes on the website when the database is not reachable, and want to do it fast. But setting Connection Timeout=3 in connection string seems having no effect. php soap error fetching http headers

问题 I am working on a PHP script that's processing a lot of data through a SOAP connection. Estimates of the total run time of the script look to be several days if it doesn't encounter any errors. The problem I'm running into is the script will run for a while, anywhere from an hour to a day, and then the SOAP connection will die with the error "error fetching http headers" . I've seen many articles suggesting increasing the default_socket_timeout setting and I've tried this. It hasn't helped. I
