How to download the latest file of an S3 bucket using Boto3?

问题 The other questions I could find were refering to an older version of Boto. I would like to download the latest file of an S3 bucket. In the documentation I found that there is a method list_object_versions() that gets you a boolean IsLatest. Unfortunately I only managed to set up a connection and to download a file. Could you please show me how I can extend my code to get the latest file of the bucket? Thank you import boto3 conn = boto3.client('s3', region_name="eu-west-1", endpoint_url=

问题 Instance types: (t2.micro, t2.small, c4.large...) those listed here: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/instance-types.html I want to access a list of these through boto3. something like: conn.get_all_instance_types() or even conn.describe_instance_types()['InstanceTypes'][0]['Name'] which everything seems to look like in this weird api. I've looked through the docs for client and ServiceResource, but i can't find anything that seems to come close. I haven't even found a hacky

How can I easily determine if a Boto 3 S3 bucket resource exists?

问题 For example, I have this code: import boto3 s3 = boto3.resource('s3') bucket = s3.Bucket('my-bucket-name') # Does it exist??? 回答1: At the time of this writing there is no high-level way to quickly check whether a bucket exists and you have access to it, but you can make a low-level call to the HeadBucket operation. This is the most inexpensive way to do this check: from botocore.client import ClientError try: s3.meta.client.head_bucket(Bucket=bucket.name) except ClientError: # The bucket does

How do you use an HTTP/HTTPS proxy with boto3?

问题 On the old boto library is was simple enough to use the proxy , proxy_port , proxy_user and proxy_pass parameters when you open a connection. However, I could not find any equivalent way of programmatically define the proxy parameters on boto3. :( 回答1: As of at least version 1.5.79, botocore accepts a proxies argument in the botocore config. e.g. import boto3 from botocore.config import Config boto3.resource('s3', config=Config(proxies={'https': 'foo.bar:3128'})) boto3 resource https://boto3

How do I conditionally insert an item into a dynamodb table using boto3

问题 If I have a table with a hash key of userId and a range key of productId how do I put an item into that table only if it doesn't already exist using boto3's dynamodb bindings? The normal call to put_item looks like this table.put_item(Item={'userId': 1, 'productId': 2}) My call with a ConditionExpression looks like this: table.put_item( Item={'userId': 1, 'productId': 2}, ConditionExpression='userId <> :uid AND productId <> :pid', ExpressionAttributeValues={':uid': 1, ':pid': 3} ) But this

This is my upload code: s3 = boto3.resource('s3') s3bucket.upload_file(filepath, objectname, ExtraArgs={'StorageClass': 'STANDARD_IA'}) I am not looking for a presigned URL, just the URL that always will be publicly accessable over https. Any help appreciated. 回答1: There's no simple way but you can construct the URL from the region where the bucket is located ( get_bucket

collectstatic incorrectly creates multiple CSS files in S3

问题 I have uploading files to S3 working fine with my Wagtail/django application (both static and uploads). Now I'm trying to use ManifestStaticFilesStorage to enable cache busting. The urls are correctly being generated by the application and files are being copied with hashes to S3. But each time I run collectstatic some files get copied twice to S3 - each with a different hash. So far the issue is ocurring for all CSS files. file.a.css is loaded by the application and is the file referenced in
