I only need to get notification of incoming SMS and display as toasts, and also send SMS . Do I need to make my app default for that? Edit 1: Here is my manifest file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" package="com.rtrgroup.sms_to_neta_server" android:installLocation="preferExternal"> <uses

问题 I've been working on a project for some time now that's targeting a minimum of 4.0 ICS. Recently, I got a new Play Edition Moto G that, after running all updates, is running 4.4 (KK). So I decided I wanted to try and deploy the program on it as well as the other two test devices that I have. Everything was going fine until my program got to a point where it was trying to access SharedPreference via PreferenceManager.getDefaultSharedPreferences(Context). After debugging and running through

问题 I'm having no luck using any of the OpenGL 3.0 shader functions on my Nexus 5 w/ KitKat 4.4, I get "called unimplemented opengl es api" for functions such as glCreateProgram() glShaderSource() glCompileShader() e.t.c. I am performing all calls whilst the OpenGL context is active. I can't imagine that these functions would not be implemented, so believe I must be doing something wrong! I have included the following <GLES3/gl3.h> <GLES2/gl2ext.h> <GLES3/gl3platform.h> and am using -lGLESv3 in

问题 I am using fromHtml to display formatted text (bold italic etc) in TextView . However, I found it's behaviour is different on JellyBean (4.1.2) and KitKat(4.4.2) Here is code: String myHtml = "<b>hello</b>😄"; Spanned spanned = Html.fromHtml(myHtml, null, null); Here html string has 😄 which is unicode for an emoji. Now after calling fromHtml it returns following value on KitKat (and above): spanned = hello😄 Here is screenshot of Android Studio for the same: This is expected behaviour as we can
