Here are some NSView options:

extension NSView {

    /// Get `NSImage` representation of the view.
    ///

    func image() -> NSImage {
        let imageRepresentation = bitmapImageRepForCachingDisplay(in: bounds)!
        cacheDisplay(in: bounds, to: imageRepresentation)

}

Or
