Could anyone help me find a free and open source WPF chart library? We are developing a dashboard tool and used ms charts previously. Now we are planning to go for WPF and stuck with finding a charting library which works more or less like ms charts with native support for 3D rendition.
Thanks in advance.

I've been evaluating WPF charts recently. I have yet to come across one that supports built-in 3D charts, some have 2.5D visualization though. The ones I've come across are:
Open source ones:
- WPF Toolkit (open source) - doesn't support as many charts as the others but is highly customizable and has great data binding support and lots of samples are provided. Hasn't been updated for about a year though.
- AmCharts QuickCharts - (open source, though their full suite is commercial) seem to support basic charts, looks decent.
Non open source ones:
- Visiblox (free or premium version) - lightweight and performant, built in zoom, nice API, basic charts supported in the free version, financial charts in the premium version.
- Visifire (commercial) - nice charts, good documentation.
- Telerik (commercial) - nice charts, good documentation and lots of different charts supported. Not really fast as far as I've noticed.
- xamChart (commercial) - flashy and nice diagrams but seems pretty slow
If I were you I would evaluate one of the free ones or if you're willing to pay, Visiblox, Visifire and Telerik seem like a reasonable option.
Full Disclosure: I have been heavily involved in development of Visiblox, hence I know that library in much more detail than the others.

Try
http://www.visifire.com/
I think they have a free version available.
Also try the charting controls in the WpfToolkit
