ZLIB inflate give 'data error' in PHP

问题 I've got a file that has zlib deflate d blocks of 4096 bytes. I'm able to inflate at least 1 block of 4096 bytes with C++, using Minzip's inflate implementation, without garbled text or data error . I'm using the following C++ implementation to inflate the data: #define DEC_BUFFER_LEN 20000 int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { FILE *file = fopen("unpackme.3di", "rb"); char *buffer = new char[4096]; std::fstream outputFile; outputFile.open("output.txt", std::ios_base::out | std::ios_base::trunc

Can CMake require static libraries (e.g., ZLIB)?

问题 It has been years since I worked in C++ , and I've never used CMake before. I'm trying to compile a program called ngmlr, which uses CMake . It worked seamlessly on other systems I tried to build it on. This time around, CMake finds ZLIB ( Found ZLIB: /usr/lib64/libz.so (found version "1.2.3") ), as required by ngmlr , but the subsequent make fails with ld: cannot find -lz . I think I know what's happening: CMake found the dynamic ZLIB library ( libz.so ), but the CMakeLists.txt file requires

Library to compress text data and store it as text

问题 I want to store web pages in compressed text files (CSV). To achieve the optimal compression, I would like to provide a set of 1000 web pages. The library should then spend some time creating the optimal "dictionary" for this content. One obvious "dictionary" entry could be <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd"> , which could get stored as %1 or something like that because it is present on almost all web pages. By creating a customized

File extension of zlib zipped html page?

问题 What does a zipped html file using zlib (deflate) look like sitting on the server? Does it have a different extension than .html? 回答1: Depending on your webserver settings, it is also possible to zip the html files in advance, in addition to having the webserver automatically zip them. Usually the extension is .gz, eg MyPage.html becomes MyPage.html.gz. With the right settings, if someone requests http://example.com/MyPage.html, and Apache sees MyPage.html.gz, and the client supports

Cannot decompress ZLIB/DEFLATE data

问题 I'm trying to extract data from compressed bytes from network capture file (PCAP.) Data from some of these packets don't have ZLIB header (the first 2 bytes, where lower 4 bits of first byte is always 8) and hence gave exception when I tried to decompress it using ZlibStream . Data with headers seem to work fine. As I understand that ZLIB is just a header and footer over DEFLATE, I pass these data without headers to DeflateStream . This time DeflateStream doesn't throw any error, it just gave

Flushing a boost::iostreams::zlib_compressor. How to obtain a “sync flush”?

问题 Is there some magic required to obtain a "zlib sync flush" when using boost::iostreams::zlib_compressor ? Just invoking flush on the filter, or strict_sync on a filtering_ostream containing it doesn't see to do the job (ie I want the compressor to flush enough that the decompressor can recover all the bytes consumed by the compressor so far, without closing the stream). Looking at the header, there seem to be some "flush codes" defined (notably a sync_flush ) but it's unclear to me how they

问题 I want to install ZLIB in the Linux server. My server account is: /home/myname . I download and extract ZLIB on my account properly. Then, I enter to ZLIB1.2.6 folder and run the command: ./configure --prefix=/home/myname/zlib But, it gives error: -bash: ./configure: Permission denied Can anybody help me why is this happening ? 回答1: Ok, if you are using Debian, you should do: su to become root apt-get update to refresh the package lists, then apt-cache search zlib to check the relevant

Python zlib output, how to recover out of mysql utf-8 table?

问题 In python, I compressed a string using zlib, and then inserted it into a mysql column that is of type blob, using the utf-8 encoding. The string comes back as utf-8, but it's not clear how to get it back into a format where I can decompress it. Here is some pseduo-output: valueInserted = zlib.compress('a') = 'x\x9cK\x04\x00\x00b\x00b' valueFromSqlColumn = u'x\x9cK\x04\x00\x00b\x00b' zlib.decompress(valueFromSqlColumn) UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\x9c' in
