How can I prevent linux from initializing a USB HID device

问题 I have a USB HID device that can work in two different modes. The selection of modes is based on the sequence of USB enumeration/initialization packets sent to it. I am using a Raspberry Pi 3 running Raspbian, however I also see the same issue if I compile my code for my desktop Ubuntu distro. The issue I have is that linux is recognizing the USB device as a HID device and then sending the sequence of commands that it deems necessary to start the device, and this works correctly and starts

问题 I am new to Android and just started working with Android 4.0.3. which enables USB Host connection. I'm trying to send some signal via USB to a camera, let's say it is supposed to be some characters that the camera has to receive and e.g. start recording. I wanted to do it via controlTransfer(), but I am unable to understand what each part of the logic of this method means. I've checked many fora, but everywhere I see it people keep refering to it as if it was obvious. What is the request ID,

问题 I have a Lollipop based android box. The box has a USB port similarly to micro USB port in Android phones. I want to check if any host is connected to the USB port with the android box in device mode similarly to when a phone is connected to a PC. At the minimum, I just need to check if something is connected to this USB port and at best get some info(manufacturer, model, serial) of the host connected. I don't need any data communication. I have tried UsbManager manager = (UsbManager)

Android device acting as an accessory

问题 I have 2 Android devices, which I would like to connect with a USB OTG cable and have back-and-forth communication between the two devices. From what I understand, one Android device will act as the USB Host (Nexus 7 running 4.4) and the other Android device will act as a USB Accessory (Galaxy Nexus running 4.2.2). I've tried googling around for an answer, but I can only seem to find articles explaining how to connect an Android device to a USB accessory (like a USB mouse or keyboard), not

问题 I want to analyze usb communication out of my device: SGS4. I see everywhere that the usbmon is needed to be configured and compiled into the kernel. Afaik, this module is not built in the android linux system. I don't have much experience in compiling a kernel but if this is necessary I would do it. Can you tell what are the steps of doing so? i.e. how to compile the linux kernel for android such that it would include the usbmon module. 回答1: I suppose you have access to: the sources of the

问题 I am using the PCSC driver and the javax.smartcardio library as the wrapper to the driver. I have 3 ACR122U devices plugged into a Linux (debian) system. I have ran udevadm info on the devices and they all have a serial number of 0. I need to identify which reader is which in my class. I can check which topological usb port is used by parsing the /sys/devices folder but I still cant "select" a device in the Java api. Does anyone know a way to modify the PCSC device stack order or something.

问题 I forgot my WD Passport Ultra disk's hardware encryption password and I am having a Delphi software being programmed for finding this password using brute force method. Original WD Security software will be used for password entries, but WD Security software locks itself at every 5 wrong password entries. Then the drive needs to be physically ejected and plugged in to reset this counter. Therefore the software being programmed must emulate safely removing and plugging in of an external USB
