问题 In TFS post build script of a .proj file I want to find whether the project build is happening through TFS triggered build or manually triggered build. Can someone suggest me how to do this using macros in Post Build event. 回答1: Short answer: you can make use of the IsDesktopBuild MSBUILD property within your csproj file to differentiate between TFS and local build. Long Answer: Developer or Team Build? To differentiate the build environments we have to implement a mechanism that detects in

Environment Variable for AppData\Local / Access Downloaded custom assemblies

问题 I am trying to setup my TFS2010 Build and I want to access the files that are downloaded via the "Version control path to custom assemblies". From what I can tell those files are downloaded to: C:\User\<Build User>\AppData\Local\BuildAgent\<Built Agent Number> I can directly access that folder via the above path, but it would be nice if there was an environment variable (or something I can use in the build) to access that folder indirectly. Or... Is there a better way to get at these files?

VSTS Build not generating latest bin binaries

问题 I am using TFS 2018 CI pipeline for MVC project, also I added the project's bin files into the TFS, there is no problem with the pipeline, its getting succeeded and artifact is generated successfully but the main problem is that if I made any changes in code related to project's DLL, the CI pipeline's build solution not generating its own latest bin file Until or unless I manually check Out the project.dll file and than check In the file than pipeline will pick the changes, what I am missing,

问题 I am trying to create a variable in TFS for my task for timestamp in format yyyymmdd. I know that I create a task specifically for this using bash or powershell. However, I am looking to find some existing variable or some way to create this variable without having to setup a task dedicated for itself. So far I have tried to use $(Date:yyyymmdd) in my variables but it does not put values in it, it uses variable name as is. For example, C:\Alpha\beta\$(Date:yyyymmdd) instead of C:\Alpha\beta

Nuget restore in TFS restores packages to different directory

问题 I placed packages.config and nuget.config to my root folder. When I run nuget restore on my dev machine, packages is restored into root/packages folder as described in nuget.config. However, when I add Nuget Installer build step to my TFS2015 build definition, the packages are restored to ../Nuget/Packages, which is outside my root folder. I have a problem referencing the restored nuget packages in next build steps then. Why nuget restore behaves differently on build server? How to fix it?
