TFS 2017 release management artifact files from version control

问题 I would like to access some files from source control (tfvc) while release management. The sources I found are either build (type "Build") and the whole source tree (type "Team Foundation Version Control"). The type "Team Foundation Version Control" seems to match, but it is not allowed to select sub folder, e.g. "$/MyApp/branches/V2/scripts". Do I need to create an artifact for the script files? 回答1: Instead of linking in a separate repository, I'd strongly recommend either publishing them

How can I stop ASP.net from marking .dll's read only then throwing errors on rebuild?

问题 I asked a similar question here but would like to narrow it down since I've figured workarounds for all but two .dll files in the bin folder. Problem: Every time I rebuild or debug, the project throws an error because those two dll's are read only. In file explorer I go to that folder and remove the read only flag and all is well UNTIL the next time I rebuild. They're set to read only again. I've been going in and un-checking read only every freaking time I rebuild and it's become a real pain

Can't select machine group from Build tasks dropdown in TFS 2015.2

问题 I'm trying to use the Visual Studio Test Agent Deployment Build vNext task in TFS 2015.2. I added a machine group in the Test tab, but when trying to select the machine group in the dropdown in the build task for the Test Agent Deployment, the UI thought that there were no groups! (clicked on the dropdown, wouldn't have anything show up) We refreshed the page and no difference. And this issue seems to appear for all of the build tasks. We tried a Windows File Copy task and typed in the

问题 We have a project administrator for a collection of projects on TFS Online. We recently hired so he had to add the guy as a new member into the team. However he cannot see one specific project we have, even with identical permissions as the other users. His account was created in the same way as the others. Trying to help the guy out here I offered to try a few things and noticed, If I create a new project as a test. "Test1", and add him as a member, he can see this account fine when he logs

问题 I know there is a provision for creating user story and a child task in batch call by using TFS rest API as mentioned in https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/docs/integrate/api/wit/samples. But my requirement is I already have existing user story and I want to create child tasks under existing user story in c#. Does anybody is having an idea how to do this? 回答1: Refer to this sample code: var url= new Uri("https://XXX.visualstudio.com"); VssCredentials c = new VssCredentials(new Microsoft

Is it possible to customize “History” tab for Bug/Task work item types?

问题 It could be good to have a work item view that showed the description of that work item plus each comment associated with the item in chronological order. This view could also include links and attachments (mixed in with the comments, in chronological order). Is it possible to customize "History" tab for Bug/Task work items? How to do that? P.S. I've tried to Google that, but what I found are OLAP management, different custom TFS reports that display issues number and flows... Any thoughts
