问题 I am new to batch processing. I am trying to start with simple scheduler and job. But i am confused b/w spring batch vs quartz jobs. My understanding is Quartz :- quartz provides both frameworks i.e scheduler framework and job framework(in case I do not want to use spring batch jobs). Right ? Spring Batch :- It only provides the job framework . I have always send using Quatz schecduler to schedule spring batch jobs. Does spring provides its own scheduler also ? 回答1: Quartz is a scheduling

Update the question so it can be answered with facts and citations by editing this post. Closed 5 years ago . I understood that spring batch framework processes data in chunks. However, I was thinking that when the same chunking functionality can be acheived through java why do we need to go for batch framework. Could any one please let me know if there are more reasons for going to

Spring batch : FlatFileItemWriter header never called

问题 I have a weird issue with my FlatFileItemWriter callbacks. I have a custom ItemWriter implementing both FlatFileFooterCallback and FlatFileHeaderCallback. Consequently, I set header and footer callbacks in my FlatFileItemWriter like this : ItemWriter Bean @Bean @StepScope public ItemWriter<CityItem> writer(FlatFileItemWriter<CityProcessed> flatWriter, @Value("#{jobExecutionContext[inputFile]}") String inputFile) { CityItemWriter itemWriter = new CityItemWriter(); flatWriter.setHeaderCallback

Using Redshfit as Spring batch Job Repository and alternatives to SEQUENCE in Redshfit

问题 One of the requirements in my project is to place the spring batch schema on amazon redshift db. I am planning to start from the schema-postgresql.sql as the base line as redshift is based on postgres. Looking at the spring batch source code it looks like you need to do few things to make this work: Extending JobRepositoryFactoryBean, DefaultDataFieldMaxValueIncrementerFactory. Adding My own RedshfitMaxValueIncrementer that extends AbstractSequenceMaxValueIncrementer Looking at the redshift

问题 My problem statement. Read a csv file with 10 million data and store it in db. with as minimal time as possible. I had implemented it using Simple multi threaded executor of java and the logic is almost similar to spring batch's chunk. Read preconfigured number of data from csv file and then create a thread, and passing the data to thread which validates data and then writes to file which runs in multi thread. once all the task is done I'm calling sql loader to load each file. Now I want to

Spring Batch: skipping during item write

问题 Spring documentation (Pg. 46, Section: 5.1.7) says: By default, regardless of retry or skip, any exceptions thrown from the ItemWriter will cause the transaction controlled by the Step to rollback. If skip is configured as described above, exceptions thrown from the ItemReader will not cause a rollback. My commit interval is set to 10. So my understanding of above paragraph is, if their is error in reading 7th record out of the chunk of 10, the item will be skipped and the correct 9 records

问题 My application needs only fixed no of records to be read & processed. How to limit this if I am using a flatfileItemReader ? In DB based Item Reader, I am returning null/empty list when max_limit is reached. How to achieve the same if I am using a org.springframework.batch.item.file.FlatFileItemReader ? 回答1: For the FlatFileItemReader as well as any other ItemReader that extends AbstractItemCountingItemStreamItemReader , there is a maxItemCount property. By configuring this property, the
