How to skin MFC main menu

I got a menu in an existing MFC application that has a standard MFC main menu. But I would like to change its background colour so that it appears to more seamlessly belong to the rest of the application. First picture: An MFC main menu . The application is skinned blue, as seen in the toolbar, but the menu is still standard grey background colour. Second Picture: Spotify 's menu, skinned to fit into the rest of the colors. I have not found any examples on anything similar. Could you please point me towards how to achieve this? Approaches I thought of: Subclassing CMenu to my own SkinnedMenu,

Are there any ready made fancy windows forms on top of which I can build my application? I was able to find only one working so far ..However,the titlebar and stuff don't maximize on double click and some functionalities of traditional windows forms are missing. I'm looking for an extended windows forms with good looks. Do you know any libraries that can help produce good looking windows forms? Please provide me any links .. Thank you. Is there any way how to disable all skins RichFaces apply? They ruin my layout and override fonts, links,... Jean-Charles You can redefine each CSS style, but it'll be boring... Have a look at reset css , this can help you to redefine the CSS. or, you can try to remove style: <context-param> <param-name>org.richfaces.CONTROL_SKINNING</param-name> <param-value>disable</param-value> </context-param> <context-param> <param-name>org.richfaces.CONTROL_SKINNING_CLASSES</param-name> <param-value>disable</param-value> </context-param> or try to use the plain style <context-param> <param-name>org

Blender exports a three.js animation - bones rotate strangely

I'm currently trying to export an animated blender model to three.js using the exporter of three.js (github.com/mrdoob/three.js/tree/dev/utils/exporters/blender/2.66/scripts/addons). I've created a model including bones and weights and a tiny animation. The problem I have: The model gets broken. Somehow the bones don't rotate around their origin but around the origin of the root bone. Moving the bones manually does not make a difference. I followed these tutorials: devmatrix.wordpress.com/2013/02/27/creating-skeletal-animation-in-blender-and-exporting-it-to-three-js/ dev.mothteeth.com/2012/10

Avoiding Visual Studio designer errors when WPF resource is defined in separate project

How can I avoid Visual Studio designer errors when a WPF resource is defined in separate project? I have three projects in a composite WPF application: the main application, an "infrastructure" library, and a "module" library. The main application references the other projects via their output DLLs (the projects are not located in a single solution together). I am defining a skin (some brushes and styles in a ResourceDictionary ) in the "infrastructure" library. I would like the main application to select a skin and make it available to the entire application (via MergedDictionaries in App

How to disable VCL styles in Delphi

浪子不回头ぞ 提交于 2019-11-27 22:02:27
I am using the new VCL styles system in Delphi XE2. It works great, but I wish to disable it for a particular form that has a number of images on it (a splash/about form). Problem is I can't seem to find a property of the form that associates it with a particular style, and so can't disable it for that form only. There only seems to be the global TStyleManager class which appears to be static. With this in mind, is the only way to achieve this to call TStyleManager.TrySetStyle('Windows') , show the form, and then set it back to the original style when the form is closed? Skinning Android app with Maven build profiles

I've got mavenized Android application and customer wants support for the skinning at build time. For example: mvn clean install -P Developer, mvn clean install -P Customer1, mvn clean install -P Customer2 In other words, different customer needs little bit different set of images, different strings (appName, copyright, etc) and also, some of the elements in layouts should be hidden or shown (Developer profile), so different layouts too. My first thought was to have folders like res-customer1, res-customer2 in parallel with standard res directory and do the swap in profile definition in pom

Skinning: Using a Color as StaticResource for another Color

I implemented skinning in my application. The application loads its Brushes.xaml resource dictionary which uses colors which reside in a skin-specific resource dictionary. So only one Color.xaml is loaded depending on the chosen skin. Skin-Specific Color.xaml <Color x:Key="TextBoxBackgroundColor">#C4AF8D</Color> <Color x:Key="TextBoxForegroundColor">#6B4E2C</Color> <Color x:Key="ToolBarButtonForegroundColor">#6B4E2C</Color> Brushes.xaml: <SolidColorBrush x:Key="TextBoxBackground" Color="{DynamicResource TextBoxBackgroundColor}" /> <SolidColorBrush x:Key="TextBoxForeground" Color="
