Download images and save locally on iPhone Phonegap app

问题 I've already managed to save a web page (x/html) successfully, but I'd also like to save the images and mp4 videos that are contained in it, for further visualization in offline mode. I've got access to the iOS filesystem, so I save the html by obtaining the code through an AJAX request, and later saving it to a file. I don't really know how to do the same with video and images . I have a server to which I can send queries from my app, so it shows exclusively the content I need to download,

Offline iOS web app: loads my manifest, but doesn't work offline

问题 I'm writing a web app to be used offline on iOS. I've created a manifest, am serving it up as text/cache-manifest , and it usually works fine, when running inside Safari. If I add it as an app to my home screen, then turn on Airplane mode, it can't open the app at all -- I get an error and it offers to close the app. (I thought this was the entire purpose of an offline app!) When I load the app a first time when online, I can see in my logs that it's requesting every page listed in the

Downloading/Caching Google Maps for Offline Use [closed]

I'd like to be able to implement this in an Android app, and I thought it was possible with the newest Google Maps API release, but I haven't seen much discussion on the topic. Ideally, you'd be able to download/cache maps for a certain region for later offline use. Is it only possible to do this via the Google Maps 5 application and not the API without violating the ToS? I know OpenStreetMap and others allow this, but I believe Google Maps still offers superior mapping and the most widespread usage. Thanks in advance. Is it only possible to do this via the Google Maps 5 application and not

Loading Cache when Offline in Android Webview

问题 I have an application which loads urls from a website. Now I want that the application to use the cache when offline. But I just get the failure page which says that im not connected to the website. At first I set the Cachemode to Load_Normal but this doesn't help. Next I tried a realy "silly" approach using the ConnectivityManager: cm = (ConnectivityManager) this.getSystemService(Activity.CONNECTIVITY_SERVICE); if(cm.getActiveNetworkInfo().isConnected()){ mfnWebView.getSettings()

Why does Jenkins say “This Jenkins instance appears to be offline”

问题 I have a fresh install of Jenkins 2.32.2 on Ubuntu. Opened a browser on the instance and get to a page titled Offline , with the message "This Jenkins instance appears to be offline" and offers options to "Configure Proxy" or "Skip Plugin Installation" The machine clearly isn't offline as I just used the internet connection to do the installation. I also had a previous installation, done exactly the same way, that was working. I removed the previous installation as Pipelines wouldn't work and

Building a pure offline Meteor app

问题 Seems to be some questions about how one can use Meteor offline when there's no internet connection here on Stack Overflow, but I'm interested in if it's possible to build a Meteor application that will only be used offline. For example, is it possible to generate folder containing a single HTML file and all other files necessary (images, and possible CSS files and JavaScript files if they aren't embedded into the HTML file), and everything works out of the box when one opens the HTML file in

Dynamically Trigger HTML5 Cache Manifest file?

孤街醉人 提交于 2019-11-26 18:26:00
问题 I am using the new cache manifest functionality from HTML5 to cache my web app so it will work offline. The content is cached automatically when the page is loaded with the following html element: <html lang="en" manifest="offline.manifest"> This works fine. However, I want to give my users the option of whether they want the content cached offline. So, here is my question: Is there any way to trigger that an application be cached at runtime, using JavaScript, and not have it automatically

I have found some great resources and learning tools for understanding Git and what it does, but I need to get some clarification, and assistance.
