问题 I'd like to know how to work with connectivity to a database in MEAN stack application. In particular, when should I create a connection to a database and when should I destroy a connection to a database. Should I create and destroy a connection on every new HTTP request or should I store a once created connection and use it for any subsequent requests as long as possible. I use Mongoose as a modeling tool. Here is an example. This is my routes.js file with a route /index . A request to this

问题 My node app gives me this message "Could not connect to any servers in your MongoDB Atlas cluster. Make sure your current IP address is on your Atlas cluster's IP whitelist". I've already added my current IP address along with the 0.0.0.0 on the IP whitelist. Below is a picture of the error message and the code I've written to connect it. I'm new to node.js and mongodb. I looked through all the solutions on here but none of them were able to solve this. var express = require('express'); var

Batch update with Mongoose

问题 I'm pulling data from a RETS(XML) feed and saving it in a local MongoDB using node and mongoose. Periodically I need to update the documents and delete the inactive ones as well as add new ones. Rather than making multiple queries to Mongo or the RETS server, I was pulling both and looping through the data. This works fine but is there a way to save the Mongoose results back to the database with updates and inserts? Or do I need to find each document and update it individually? 回答1: On

问题 I was trying to install MongoDB in WSL running Ubuntu 18.04 after seeing this documentation. But MongoDB says that: IMPORTANT The mongodb package provided by Ubuntu is not maintained by MongoDB Inc. and conflicts with the official mongodb-org package. If you have already installed the mongodb package on your Ubuntu system, you must first uninstall the mongodb package before proceeding with these instructions. MongoDB also says that WSL doesn't support mongodb-org WINDOWS SUBSYSTEM FOR LINUX
