问题 I am using Eclipse with JDK 1.7. My previous projects are developed in java 7 and JDK 1.7. Now, I want to build a new project under JDK 1.6 in Eclipse. Is it possible to do that so that some projects are based on JDK 1.7 and some others are based on JDK 1.6 without conflicts? If this can be done, please let me know how to do it step by step. Update: My default JDK is 1.7. I created a new project that is based on jdk1.7 by default. And then I go to the property of this project, and then java

问题 Every time I run Android Studio, this loading screen pops up, but Android Studio stays here and doesn't load. It's like this following picture except that the loading bar is loaded all the way but stuck there. I am running Windows 10. I have tried many things, including setting the system variables JDK_HOME to where my JDK is located and the same for JAVA_HOME . I have also set a path. I ran as admin many times and let AS through a firewall. I have also restarted and reinstalled countless

Java Cross-Compilation - Benefits of Latest JDK

怎甘沉沦 提交于 2019-12-06 02:06:43
I maintain a Java application which I have always compiled using JDK 1.6 before distributing it as this is the minimum version that my application requires - I don't use any newer features. I don't see the point of compiling it in a later version or older JREs won't be able to run it (i.e. users on Mac OSX which use Java 1.6). Now, with security in the news recently with respect to Java and with bug fixes in later versions of the JDK, is it better to cross compile it using the latest JDK available using the following syntax: javac -Xlint -source 1.6 -target 1.6 -bootclasspath jre6/lib/rt.jar

XSLT 2.0 support in JDK 6?

Does JDK 6 support XSLT 2.0 for transformation. My question is, does it come with an XSLT processor built for XSLT 2.0? or DO I need to go for other libraries like Saxon. No, it doesn't, not by default anyway. As you suggest, you need to use Saxon or another option would be Oracle's XDK . 来源: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1599957/xslt-2-0-support-in-jdk-6

问题 I'd like to know what are the experiences with G1 garbage collector in newest JDK? I see NullPointerException thrown in my program, although code didn't change and behave correctly in earlier JDKs. 回答1: I've been running jEdit using: -Xmx192M -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC for the last couple of days on windows. Haven't experienced anything going wrong or misbehaving. I also tried running Intellij using the G1 GC, it didn't fair so well. It lasted a couple of hours before

First, I had installed jdk 1.6.0_43 and oracle weblogic 12.1.1, I was successfully able to deploy my application. I then upgraded both my jdk (1.7.0_60) and weblogic (12.1.2), but was unable to deploy my application. Now, I downgraded my weblogic (12.1.1) but retained my jdk 1.7.0_60, but i was still not able to deploy my application successfully. In both the failure cases, I got the same error with the following message. Is there something with respect to java 7 I should be aware of? I tried searching for this a lot, but in vain.. How can you disable all sorting code in JTable in 1.6

I have a JTable extension that has been in use since Java 1.3/1.4 in the project that provided things like column reordering and sorting by clicking on the column. We are upgrading to Java 1.6, and the new JTable stops the old sorting code from working. It would be somewhat extensive rework to fit everything to the new JTable API. Until then is there a way to completely disable those additions in JTable? Edit: After the further investigation, the problem is centered around the fact that the mouse events on the header are swallowed by Swing in 1.6, and not passed on to the table implementation,
