Is there a slower or more controlled alternative to .apply()?

问题 So this may seem like an odd question, but I have a pandas DataFrame with addresses in it, that I want to geocode so I can get the latitude and longitude. I have code that works using .apply() thanks to this very helpful thread (new column with coordinates using geopy pandas), but my problem is that all of the open APIs have strict limits to how many requests per second they allow, and also requests per day. I haven't been able to find any way to throttle my code so match the limits of the

MapRouteFinder.GetDrivingRouteAsync and MapServiceToken in Windows Phone 8.1 XAML

问题 I have a Windows Phone 8.1 XAML app that uses the MapControl to display maps. In the MapControls Loaded event, I set a valid Bing API key void MyMap_Loaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { MyMap.MapServiceToken = the key MapService.ServiceToken = the key } I know the Bing API key is valid because the watermark in the MapControl is not shown. From the page with the MapControl I navigate to another Page where in the ViewModel I try to find a driving route: var driving = await MapRouteFinder

How do I get the name of the type of administrative_area_level_1, 2, etc

问题 I'm using the Google Maps API. I understand how to make queries and parse the JSON that comes back. What I'd like to be able to do is get name of the administrative_area_level_1's type. For example, in the United States administrative_area_level_1 is a state, in Canada, it is a Province. (Strictly speaking, it can be a Province or a Territory, just like in the USA we have States and Territories.) I'm looking for the word "State" or "Province" or whatever the location uses for its 1st, 2nd,

问题 I have been using the javascript Google Maps API to construct the following map: http://springhillfarm.com.au/locations-map/ and now I would like to list the nearest 5 pins when a user searches their location in the search bar. Try out entering a suburb like "North Epping" and the map will move around well using the following function: $("#searchclick").click(function(){ var address = document.getElementById('searchbar').value; var address = address + " Australia"; var geocoder = new google

LatLong falls within a given polygon in D3 + Leaflet

问题 I am trying to learn how to use the Javascript library leaflet along with d3 to create various map visualisations. I have been following this tutorial which creates a choropleth map of the United States with some interactivity. This provides some of what I need, but the main functionality I want is to have a list of lat/long coordinates classified according to which region they belong to. This would mean, in the tutorial map for example, if I had a lat long value (55, -3) which fell within

问题 Using Alex Reisner's Ruby Geocoder and finding the .near method very useful. One question we have is how can we set it so that we can search for objects between distance x and distance y from the origin (at the moment the .near method only sets the max distance it seems): documentation here We're looking for something like: places = Place.near("Washington", min_distance, max_distance).reorder("score") or some way of modifying the query so that we get the same effect without using .reorder

How to return address types from google maps geocode?

问题 I am currently using the google maps api to geocode locations on the map and return the address of the street. I currently return the address with the following code: function codeLatLng(markerPos) { geocoder.geocode({'latLng': markerPos}, function(results, status) { if (status == google.maps.GeocoderStatus.OK) { if (results[1]) { //Set markerAddress variable var markerAddress = results[0].formatted_address; alert(markerAddress); ... 问题 This question already has answers here : Calculate possible lines from points (2 answers) Closed 5 years ago . I am calculating how far away a point is from a line segment on the earth. My function seemed to work, but as i've increased the distances it's clear it's not working. I presume this is due to the curvature of the earth. In my calculations Rome is shown as 5km from the line: London, UK - 0km Rome, Italy - 5km Cyrene, Libya - 0km But on Google Earth it's actually more like 61km When I

问题 After I upgraded to Android SDK 8 I started seeing geocoding failures in the emulator. However, everything was fine on a device. Now my app fails to gecode on 1.5 and 1.6 devices as well as in the emulator. Has anyone been able to fix this? I can't test on a 2.2 device. Perhaps it works OK there. Is anyone else suffering from this and have they fixed it? Many thanks, pawpaw17 回答1: Geocoding doesnt work on the emulator on API 8, I dont know why, but it just doesnt, run in on a API7 emulator,

How to reverse geocode lat/lon into boroughs efficiently

问题 I am working with the New York City taxi data set. The data set has columns including datetime, pickup lat/lon, dropoff lat/lon etc. Now I want to reverse geocode the lat/lon to find the borough/neighborhood. I came across geopy and found that something like this worked perfectly: from geopy.geocoders import Nominatim geolocator = Nominatim() borough = [] loc = ['40.764141, -73.954430', '40.78993085, -73.9496098723'] for l in loc: sub = str(geolocator.reverse(l)) borough.append(sub.split(', '
