问题 I have a view model that consist of some nodes and some connectors: public class ViewModel { public List<Node> Nodes{get;set;} public List<Connector> Connectors{get;set;} } public Class Node { public Point Position{get;set;} } public class Connector { public Node StartNode{get;set;} public Node EndNode{get;set;} } Now I display nodes in page by an items control: <UserControl.Resources> <ResourceDictionary> <ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries> <ResourceDictionary Source="Styles.xaml"><

Have I to use the same actors for those extending or included use cases? [closed]

Closed 2 years ago . I am currently refreshing/altering my knowledge in software development because I will work in this area soon. We have learned a lot about UML diagrams and coding at University, but I have never brought it all together in a real Project. Therefore, I started to create a test web

Aggregation and navigability at the same end

In UML, is it possible to draw an aggregation where the component object can access the composite object? Like in this image, but with only one association line, so the association end touching A would have a diamond and an arrow. If that isn't possible, the diagram I drawn is valid? If not, why? Another point of view, navigability is important to show how is it possible to navigate in the model and how to access to instances. Another point is about OCL, if navigability is not defined some OCL queries will be hard to write. Specification describes (p 198): Navigability means that instances

Trying to understand cardinality in an entity relationship diagram?

I'm quite new to relational databases and have been having a lot of trouble recently trying to understand an entity relationship diagram I've been given. Here it is: Solicitor ERD (ERD is for a made up solicitor company) Basically my task is to take this ERD and write an SQL script to create the database, obviously filling in the tables with data I can make up. The SQL syntax isn't the thing I'm having a hard time with, it's simply understanding the cardinality in the diagram. To me the terms '1 to 1', '1 to many', 'many to many' just don't click, I have no idea what they mean and how they

Functional programming - standard symbols, diagrams, etc

I have a problem, which I believe to be best solved through a functional style of programming. Coming from a very imperative background, I am used to program design involving class diagrams/descriptions, communication diagrams, state diagrams etc. These diagrams however, all imply, or are used to describe, the state of a system and the various side effects that actions have on the system. Are there any standardised set of diagrams or mathematical symbols used in the design of functional programs, or are such programs best designed in short functional-pseudo code (given that functions will be

Does statemachine and statechart mean the same?

问题 I have heard people using these terms. I wonder if they refer to the same thing or is there a difference between these two? 回答1: Wikipedia actually covers this pretty well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_diagram State machines have been around for a long time (decades at least). They consist of states (usually circles) and arrows between the states where certain actions can trigger an transition along an arrow. Moore and Mealy machines are the two main variants, which indicate whether the

choosing a diagramming library for .Net [closed]

I have a customer who needs to convert a diagramming application (which was developed in MFC a long time ago) to C#. The application displays large networks (lots of graphical elements), and lets the user edit/manipulate the data through a graphical ui. I decided that it would be best to use a library rather than to develop all from scracth (all graphic objects/selection/tools/events/etc) I am looking for a commercial solution. I found three that seem to be very mature, and I wonder if anyone had used them and can write his/her opinon: Tom Sawyer Visualization IBM ILog Diagrammer for .Net

问题 I am a complete ROOKIE at this so I need some help on it. How would you create uml class diagram and constructors with parameters. for default (no parameters) you do policyholder() for diagram and pseudo-code for parameters would you do the same thing policyholder (policynumber, service class, and customer age) for class diagrams and pseudo-code. It also asked to initialize each attribute to value where an object of this type can be instantiated, If a policy number is not between 1000 and 999

svg diagrams using python

I am looking for a library to generate svg diagrams in python (I fetch data from a sql database). I have found python-gd , but it has not much documentation and last update was in 2005 so I wonder if there are any other libraries that are good for this purpose. I am mostly thinking about simple line graphs, something like this : Rodrigo As you're looking for simple line graphics, probably, CairoPlot will fit your needs as it can generate svg output files out of the box. Take a look at this . This example image shows only a few of its capabilities. Using the trunk version available at launchpad
