checking cin input, clearing input buffer

问题 New to c++ - trying to check for format of input. Have tried everything, at wit's end. Any help would be appreciated. I've broken down my problem to this basic case: while(1) { cin >> x; cout << "asked!" << endl; cin.ignore(1000, 'n'); } will result in infinite loop of "asked!" after the first invalid input (entering not int for x). I want to handle incorrect input. The following will not work: do { cin.clear(); cin >> x >> y; if (cin.fail()) { cout << "Invalid input." << endl; cin.ignore

问题 I'm trying to deal with form data in c here. fgets(somedata, bufferone, stdin); if I printf 'somedata', I get: username=John&password=hispass123 now when I try to sscanf using char usr[100], pass[100]; sscanf(somedata, "username=%s&password=%s", usr, pass); printf("Content-type: text/html\n\n"); printf("%s is value 1\n", usr); printf("%s is value 2\n", pass); than I get John&password=hispass123 is value 1 ?? is value 2 I suspect, the first call reads up to the null-terminator, and then second

PHP - how to read big remote files efficiently and use buffer in loop

问题 i would like to understand how to use the buffer of a read file. Assuming we have a big file with a list of emails line by line ( delimiter is a classic \n ) now, we want compare each line with each record of a table in our database in a kind of check like line_of_file == table_row . this is a simple task if you have a normal file, otherwise, if you have a huge file the server usually stop the operation after few minute. so what's the best way of doing this kind of stuff with the file buffer?

Why does it take longer for some internet audio streams to start playing on a Samsung S3?

问题 We are experiencing almost the exact opposite of what is mentioned here: Why does it take so long for Android's MediaPlayer to prepare some live streams for playback? I've tested multiple streams but two in particular 1 - http://usa8-vn.mixstream.net:8138 - SampleRate: 32000Hz and Bitrate: 96 kb/s 2 - http://source01.platform02.true.nl:800 - SampleRate: 44100Hz and Bitrate: 128 kb/s The lower bitrate stream starts playing instantly (as soon as the media player is prepared ), while the higher

Is this a correct way to implement a bounded buffer in C++ [closed]

问题 Closed. This question is off-topic. It is not currently accepting answers. Want to improve this question? Update the question so it's on-topic for Stack Overflow. Closed 6 years ago . I am working on a program that deals with multiple threads accessing, depositing in, and withdrawing from a bounded buffer container. I have noticed some major problems with the threads and suspect that my buffer is partially or fundamentally incorrect somewhere. To be sure I know what I am doing with this, I

PHP Curl output buffer not receiving response

问题 I have a deal where file1.php curl runs file2.php. file2.php is a long running file, but it sends(or is supposed to send) a response back to file1.php then carry on with it's code. I am using output buffer to try sending this data, but the problem is if I 'return;' right after the flush; file1.php receives the response just fine, but when I try to keep file2.php running, file1.php never receives the response, what I am doing wrong? Is there a different way I must send the response back to

mysql innodb buffer pool size which dependencies

问题 I want to dimension RAM dependent on the innodb_buffer_pool_size. But all what I find is the dependence of the innodb_buffer_pool_size on RAM. Can you tell me on which parameters on the innodb_buffer_pool_size depends? Number of queries? Number of transactions? I want to find out the formula which calculates the RAM dependent on innodb_buffer_pool_size. Can you help me? Thank you very much for your advice! 回答1: Sizing innodb_buffer_pool_size : If all the queries/transactions are touching tiny

What is the smallest audio buffer needed to produce Tone sound without distotions with WaveOUT API

问题 Does the WaveOut API has some internal limitation of the size for the current piece of buffer played ? I mean if I provide a very small buffer does it affects somehow the sound played to the speakers. I am experiencing very strange noise when I am generating and playing the sinus wave with small buffer. Something like a peak, or "BUMP". The complete Story: I made a program that can generate Sinus sound signal in real time. The variable parameters are Frequency and Volume. The project

How to parse large amount of data passed to kernel module through /proc file?

问题 Edit: I have found seq_file that eases writing a lot of data from kernel to user-space. What I am looking for is the opposite; an API that facilitates reading a lot of data (more than one page) from user-space. Edit 2 : I am implementing a port of <stdio.h> as a kernel module that would be able to open /proc (and later, other virtual file systems) similar to FILE s and handle input and output similar to <stdio.h> . You can find the project here. I have found a LOT of questions on how the
