How to enable SQL Authentication with ARM Template?

问题 I have an ARM template which deploys multiple Azure VMs with the following images: "SQL2008R2SP3-WS2008R2SP1", "SQL2012SP4-WS2012R2", "SQL2014SP2-WS2012R2", "SQL2016SP2-WS2016", "SQL2017-WS2016" The SQLIaaS VM Extension is not leaving the SQL Server in SQL Authentication mode, and not creating the SQL Authentication account. Otherwise everything else works fine. Here's the snippet for the SQLIaaS part of the ARM template. Any ideas why SQL Auth is not being set up? { "apiVersion": "2015-06-15

Associate a Public IP in an Azure Resource Group to a Web App?

问题 I'm playing around with Azure Resource Groups. I've created a group, and in it, I've created a web app. (This is all just academic and I'll delete it all when I'm done leaning, so I don't mind sharing the data.) The web app is located at http://woodswild.azurewebsites.net, and indeed you can go to that address and it will resolve (although there is nothing there, which is fine for now.) Then, in the same resource group, I also created a Public IP Address that is static. That all looks good (I

问题 I am creating an Azure Key Vault. I am using the below ARM JSON template. I have an App created in Azure AD and I am trying to give that app all permissions so that I can use this Apps credentials to connect to the Key Vault from a Key Vault client. I am using TFS, and have created a "Azure Deployment:Create Or Update Resource Group" Release definition task to automate this. { "$schema": "https://schema.management.azure.com/schemas/2015-01-01/deploymentTemplate.json#", "contentVersion": "1.0

Azure ARM template nested template deployment won't update resources\fails to start

问题 I have the following ARM Template structure: Parent Template |--Nested Template 1 |--... |--Nested Template 6 So I only have 2 levels of templates, Parent and nested. Lets say I deploy parent to an empty resource group and everything works well. After that I delete one of the resources and want to deploy the same Parent Template with the same parameters to bring deleted resources back. But the deployment would fail saying that the resource already exists (the other, not the one i'm tried to

问题 I would like to set the connection strings and app settings of my Azure web app using powershell. And I would like those settings to stick with the slot, and not with the app when it is swapped. The code for app settings looks like this and it works: $PropertiesObject = @{"SMTPUser"="myuser"; "SMTPPassword"="secretpwd";} $webAppName = "mywebapp" $slotName = "demo" $resourceGroupName = "myResourceGroup" New-AzureRmResource -PropertyObject $PropertiesObject -ResourceGroupName $resourceGroupName

How to access the publishing credentials of a website using Azure RM and ResourceId

问题 I'm trying to get the publishing credentials of a website using AzureRm and PowerShell using Invoke-AzureRmResourceAction and PowerShell. In this answer @David Ebbo explains how to do it using ResourceName and ResourceGroupName as parameters of the Invoke-AzureRmResourceAction cmdlet. I've tried that and it works perfectly and the object I get back has an Id property that looks a lot like a ResourceId . I've tried using that Id as the ResourceId parameter and removing ResourceName and

Migrate classic Azure resources to new Azure resource manager

问题 After switching to the new Azure portal, I see all resources of mine are listed as classic resources. I am googling around to see if it's possible to have classic VM and migrate it to ARM and just hadn't seen anything that stated it was possible. I tried deleting the class VM but keep the VHD to check if I can attach it to the ARM VM. The result said it doesn't work. Is there any way that can be used to achieve this ? 回答1: Unfortunately (and strangely!) there isn't a way to do this via the
