Items in GridView not visible

问题

I am using a gridview to display some images.I did the code for but still i am not getting any images

Custom Adapter

I did lot of research but still not getting any success I am not getting where i went wrong?Please do help me out

Remove android:stretchMode="spacingWidthUniform" from gridview. You are already fixing height width of image view griditem in item layout

Remove strechMode from gridview and add android:gravity="center" to custom_trips_frag_row.xml imageview

Wasting about 4 hours I found that there was an error in my code. I copied this code of a GridView adapter and found that the GridView didn't show images (or text labels) inside. I tried many answers from Gridview height gets cut, How to have a GridView that adapts its height when items are added and learnt that my inner views (ImageViews) could not measure their widths and heights.

Of course, I can set gridView.layoutParams.height = 300 and ImageViews will show, but it depends on ImageView size. So, I found an error in ImageView creation.

Instead of view = LayoutInflater.from((context)).inflate(R.layout.image_layout, null) I must write:

view = LayoutInflater.from((context)).inflate(R.layout.image_layout, parent, false)

In this case new views will be attached to the GridView and can measure their sizes.

So, here is an example of getView method:
