Gmail Signature, my HTML doesn't work, why?

问题

I have an issue with a Gmail signature. I've written its HTML code and it works fine enough on CodePen.io or in Chrome/Firefox.

When I copy the outcome and paste it in the Gmail signature field, it comes out broken and untidy, fairly different from how it appears in Chrome.

What should I do?
