My Eclipse is running behind a firewall. I cannot use any of the update sites listed on the eGit download page: http://www.eclipse.org/egit/download/ and none of the links there provide a full zip archive.
I need an update site zip file that I can transfer to my walled off dev environment. Where can I find such an archive?

You can get the latest successful build of the update site from Hudson at https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/egit/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/ There is a "all files as zip" option.
Also if you need to use a proxy to access the internet you can tell Eclipse to use that proxy. Open the Eclipse Preferences and look under General -> Network connections.
