Dump stacktraces of all active Threads

I'm trying to dump a list of all active threads including the current stack of each. I can get a list of all threads using threading.enumerate(), but i can't figure out a way to get to the stack from there. Background: A Zope/Plone app freaks out from time to time, consuming 100% of cpu and needs to be restarted. I have a feeling it's a loop which doesn't terminate properly, but i cannot reproduce it in the test-environemt for verification. I managed to register a signal handler which can be triggered from the outside, so i can trigger some code as soon as the situation occurs again. If I

I think this problem is not Zope-related. Nonetheless I'll explain what I'm trying to do: I'm using a PUT_factory in Zope to upload images to the ZODB per FTP. The uploaded image is saved as a Zope Image inside a newly created container object. This works fine, but I want to resize the image if it exceeds a certain size (width and height). So I'm using the thumbnail function of PIL to resize them i.e. to 200x200. This works fine as long as the uploaded images are relatively small. I didn't check out the exact limit, but 976x1296px is still ok. With bigger pictures I get: Module PIL.Image, line

Multiple versions of Python on OS X Leopard

I currently have multiple versions of Python installed on my Mac, the one that came with it, a version I downloaded recently from python.org, an older version used to run Zope locally and another version that Appengine is using. It's kind of a mess. Any recommendations of using one version of python to rule them all? How would I go about deleted older versions and linking all of my apps to a single install. Any Mac specific gotchas I should know about? Is this a dumb idea? Ned Deily There's nothing inherently wrong with having multiple versions of Python around. Sometimes it's a necessity when
