问题 I just cloned a project into Xcode and am trying to run it in the simulator. However, my only option is iOS Device. This is unique to this project only and I don't know how to fix it. Anyone else run into this and know how to fix it? 回答1: Under Your project Build Settings select Deployment section change iOS Deployment Target to a version iOS 5.0 or less now you can go ahead and change the deployment target from device to simulator! In my case the deployment target was set to version 5.1 and

App Icon not changing when app version is updated in iOS 5 simulator

I recently started using Xcode 4.2 and the iOS 5 simulator. When I update an older version of my app pre-installed in the simulator, it updates the app just fine but the app icon is not updated. Even with cleaning and building the app ahead of time (sometimes a couple of times) this seems to be the case. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? EDIT: Still the same problem, but when I quit the simulator and start it again (NOT deleting the app), the icon is updated. That's a little encouraging at least. Has anyone else experienced this? Despite others' answers, it would appear that your

How to pinch out in iOS simulator when map view is only a portion of the screen?

问题 I have a view on the iPad that I am adding an MKMapView to that is say half the height of the full screen. However, when I try to pinch out on the iOS Simulator it doesn't work since the to nubs fill the entire iPad view on the simulator. And so, with the map view half the screen and I press the "Option" key on the keyboard I cannot grab the map to pinch out. Anyone know how to handle this? 回答1: You can move the two gray circles that represent your fingers around the screen by holding Option

How does JetBrains AppCode launch the iOS Simulator?

问题 I just looked at JetBrains's App Code IDE and it seems to be able to launch the iOS Simulator and run applications in it. When I had to automate the deployment of my projects I had to resort to Applescript and GUI automation. They seem to be using a closed tool called 'simlauncher'. I wonder what the magic behind it could be. Update: On looking at Activity Monitor, I see that osascript gets launched from simlauncher before the simulator is launched. Could it be Applescript again? I thought

This question already has answers here : How to resize the iPhone/iPad Simulator? (11 answers) Is it possible to resize the iPhone Simulator? I'm using screen capture software to record a demo of my iPhone application, and it would be handy to be able to resize the iPhone Simulator window. Thanks! You should try cmd 2 or cmd 3 on your keyboard to scale down. And cmd 1 to get back to the original scale. Unfortunately no, it must maintain that size. We had the same issue. I wish I could give you a more complete answer, however it seems reasonable for the accurate rendering profiling that it

I'd like to learn how to program in Assembler. I've done a bit of assembly before (during my A-Level Computing course) but that was very definitely a simplified 'pseudo-assembler'. I've borrowed my Dad's old Z80 Assembler reference manual, and that seems quite interesting so if possible I'd like to have a go with Z80 assembler. However, I don't have a Z80 processor to hand, and would like to do it on my PC (I have windows or linux so either is good). I've found various assemblers around on the internet, but I'm not particularly interested in assembling down to a hex file, I want to just be

I'm familiar with X86[-64] architecture & assembly. I want to start develop for an ARM processor. But unlike desktop processors, I don't have an actual ARM processor. I think I need an ARM simulator. http://www.armtutorial.com/ say An ARM assembly compiler will be required, the most accessible is the ARMulator. I thought of downloading Armulator but found from http://forums.arm.com/index.php?showtopic=13744 that Its not sold seperately. But you can download an eval of RVDS - which includes RVISS/ARMulator I've downloaded & installed RVDS but It looks very complex. I'm unable to figure out what
