问题 https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ On 27th May 2020 I had used page speed where I got a pretty good score for desktop (90+) and for mobile around (85+), but as on 28th May 2020 the metrics seems to drastically changed, I can see the PageSpeed has new version (v6) but no proper release notes are provided here https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/release_notes. Anyone had faced similar issue and found that google pagespeed did undergo certain upgrades then

问题 I have a Wordpress site that my client wants to validate perfectly (using W3C validator). One of the issues is Google's pagespeed, which seems to be enabled by default by hosting provider. I try to disable mod_pagespeed in .htaccess file with the following, but it doesn't work for some reason: <IfModule pagespeed_module> ModPagespeed off </IfModule> I can disable it by adding "?ModPagespeed=off" to URL, but this does not solve my problem. Is there anything else I can try? I only have access

Number of hidden inputs in HTML doc affecting page rendering speed

Deadly 提交于 2020-01-24 22:56:11
问题 Does the number of hidden input fields in an HTML document affect the speed of page rendering in a browser? Yes or no? My guess is the answer is no since hidden fields aren't rendered at all. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm in a situation where I have a bunch of forms on the page, each decked out with up to 100 hidden input fields. Should I be concerned in terms of performance? I'm already trying to reduce this number for maintenance purposes, but I need to know the performance penalty (if any).

Why does google pagespeed asks to specify ETag even when cache headers are set

问题 I have set cache headers to be far in future (1 year from now) and have disabled the ETags as advised by the YSlow (http://developer.yahoo.com/performance/rules.html#etags) but Google pagespeed seems to require ETag (or last-modified) even after the cached headers are set. "It is important to specify one of Expires or Cache-Control max-age, and one of Last-Modified or ETag, for all cacheable resources." The two rules seems to be conflicting each other. 回答1: YSlow does not advise to remove

问题 I'm testing the speed of my site, mostly for the purpose of high ranking in Google. So I'm using this site: http://www.webpagetest.org/compare Everything works really fast, except a page I'm displaying in an iframe. The images in this page take a really long time to load, mostly because they are taken from a different, slower, website. In my test all the site loaded under 3 seconds, except for these images who took almost 10 seconds. So here's the thing. This iframe is actually hidden until a
