I start my MAMP and try to connect to my MySQL server via localhost or 127.0.0.1 , I tried all the possible password that I think it is correct, but for some reasons it still didn't like it, so I think I forgot it somehow. I've dumped a MySQL database I have on my local MAMP server into a .sql file. Usually, it's easy enough for me to import that file to my production Linux servers without a hitch. However, my current client runs MySQL on WIMP, and when import the MAMP-generated .sql dump into my WIMP mysql environment (Using pphpMyAdmin) I get a "File could not be read" error? Any ideas of what I'm bumping up against, or what to check? After changing php file and refreshing browser, the change is not displayed immediately, but refreshing after 15 seconds shows the change. I'm working on something that was built on a PC set-up using php and an ms access database. When I port the app to my MAMP environment, I get Fatal error: Call to undefined function odbc_connect() in /path/to/index.php on line 37 line 37 looks like this: return odbc_connect("DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; DBQ=myfile.mdb", "ADODB.Connection", "", "SQL_CUR_USE_ODBC"); It seems like odbc isn't compiled into the MAMP version of PHP (5).
