How to uninstall Qt5 commercial license

问题 I got quite desperate on this, because I cannot install the open source Qt5 after I installed commercial Qt5 on my laptop. This issue happened like this: My first trial of install Qt5, I chose the commercial license. Then when I tried to install PyQt5, it said my Qt5 license is commercial, not compatible with PyQt5 license. So naturally, as a open source lover, I uninstalled the Qt5. And reinstalled an open source version. But, no matter how many times I tried, PyQt5 says my Qt5 is still

How can I synchronize closed and open sourced versions of the same tool using Mercurial?

问题 I have a tool I would like to release the source to. However, a few features cannot be released as open source parts because of licensing restrictions. I'd like to generally develop the tool itself using the open source version of the code, but at each release I need to port the few features in the closed version back into the build for a particular client. I can't just use a normal branch for this, because that would put the closed source bits into the same repository as where I'd like to

So I found an open source project that uses the reciprocal public license 1.5 (RPL). It seems that the RPL means that you must post all of your code back out to the community. RPL 1.5 - Paragraph 5 Further, under the RPL all components you author including schemas, scripts, source code, etc. -- regardless of

There is uncertainty surrounding the use of DNNRadMenu in the community edition of DotNetNuke. It is my understanding that as of DNN 5.6.2, it is OK for community edition users to use (and modify) the DNNRadMenu wrapper, but these users/developers will not have access to the core telerik code (which is bundled

问题 I've inherited a VB6 project that I'm trying to "Make". The build fails on the "Making EXE" step with a licensing error: License information for this component not found. You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality in the design environment. How can I figure out which component is missing the license? The project has about 15 references; a mixture between commercial and Microsoft. I've installed development versions / licenses for all the obvious references - and checked

I have very little experience with licensing issues. Let's say I'm developing an application for .NET 2.0. Is it OK to use (and distribute) some .NET 3.5 DLL's with my application? For example, could I just copy "System.Core.dll" in my setup to the client's machine? Or could I even just extract some class (e.g.

问题 How could you detect when the user has rolled back the system date? The usage situation is to prevent circumventing licensing and the program will need to detect a roll back made that happened when it was not running. 回答1: Well, you can use an embedded database in your program with an encrypted system date that gets inserted in every once in a while. If you see that a "newer" date is before some previous date, you can see that somebody changed the system date. It's just an idea. 回答2: There

I've devised the following mechanism so as to license a software without direct connection to a server, it seems simple, yet I fail to find any serious flaw: I plan to use asymetric crypto so as to send a message from 1 server (the licence server) to n clients (the n
