I install the CLion on a Ubuntu 14.04. I build my first project with help CMakeLists.txt: Source file: #include <iostream> using namespace std; int main() { cout << "Hello, World!" << endl; return 0; } CMakeLists.txt: cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 2.8.4) project(sh) set(SOURCE_FILES main.cpp) add_executable(sh ${SOURCE_FILES}) My source file is located in a /home/user/Desktop/sh . But after build, I don't see any executable file in this folder. Where is it? I'm using TypeScript style with single quotes, double quotes are used exclusively in HTML templates. WebStorm/PhpStorm auto import adds import statements with double quotes and ruins the style. I guess this applies to all JetBrains products. How can this behaviour be fixed? I just downloaded CLion from https://www.jetbrains.com/ because I just love the rest of their products. However I'm having problems configuring it. I'm not able to compile and run my application (a simple "hello world"). When I try to run the application it refers me to "Edit configuration", so I added a new application and now I have this problem: I cannot specify the "target"; the only thing I can do is set "All targets". I am in the market for a new IDE but am confused about the overlap between some of Jetbrains' offerings. It looks like IntelliJ IDEA has plugins that allow you to do Node.js and php development. 问题 I am new to Java programming language and the IntelliJ IDEA 2017.1 IDE. I just installed the IDE and I activated all the various inspections but the IDE is unable to detect the errors any time I make a mistake such as omitting a bracket or a semicolon.
