EDIT: Even though this question has been put on hold, I figure that I should update it since more than a few people have emailed me with similar issues since I put this up. Google finally did get back to me and admitted that there is a problem with the Play Store, and it required some manual intervention from

Splitting android application in to two 'branches', free and paid

问题 I've developed an android-application that I'dd like to put up on the marketplace. However, I want to split it into two separate applications, one free (with ads), and one paid (logically without ads). How would I go about doing that? I'm not wondering about adding ads (I've alreaddy managed that), but how to take one existing android-application (eclipse-project) and split it into two without having to create a new project and just copy-paste every file one by one (or in batch for that

问题 So I published my first app to the play store a few days ago. It shows up here and when I search on the website shows up in the search result result Even says it is compatible with my phone on that page. However when I search in the store on my phone it does not show up. Someone with a Galaxy S2 says it shows up and someone with a galaxy S3 says it doesn't. So mixed results there. Manifest.xml is here I used mono-droid to build the app, is it possible that that has anything to do with it?

问题 I'm suddenly getting this difference from the previous version when trying to upload a new version of my app to Play: I use only default string values, most of them hardcoded, as my app only supports one language so far. Anyway, I haven't changed anything related to locales/languages to this last update. when googling about this, the only reference I fount was this link. I was using an outdated version of facebook sdk, but updating it didn't brought my Localizatons back... alse I don't use

How do I Deploy to Google Store via VS 2019 using Version 3 of the Google API

问题 Up until recently, we've been archiving and deploying to the Google Play store via Visual Studio 2019. Google recently deprecated v1 and v2 of the deployment APIs. Now when I try to deploy from VS, it says 'This API has been deprecated and is no longer available. [410]' Is there a configuration file somewhere I can use to change to version 3 of the API? Or is there something in Google Play where I have to create a new set of credentials that specifically targets v3 of the deployment API? We

问题 I need to sort this out because it's a pretty big problem. My users keep sending emails that they can't install the app because an error code: -2. Here's a screenshot I received. Do you have any advice? Thanks a lot! UPDATE: Looks like after an app update the problem got solved. Users reporting install now works. 回答1: Maybe it's not a real solution but I had the same issue days before. After several days searching in the internet I updated my app in Play Store with some minor changes (nothing

问题 I have submitted and published an app in the Google Play store. I did not receive any errors when I uploaded my binary. Now, I am receiving reports from some (not all) customers stating that they are getting the following error when installing our App: "Package file was not signed correctly" When I try to replicate this error myself (using a Nexus 7 reset to factory settings), however, everything goes smoothly. This seems to be similar to the issue described in this question, but the accepted

Why Google Play's Active Device Installs not equal to total daily device installs minus total daily device uninstalls? [closed]

The difference between Active Device Installs and total installs on Google Play's stats (formerly Android market) is easily explained by users uninstalling. However I would expect the active device installs to equal to the total device installs less the total uninstalls. But looking at the daily device installs
