问题 I have successfully installed Android Studio, it works really great thus far. I have also downloaded Genymotion which came with virtual box, that works really great thus far as well. In Genymotion , I added the file path from Android Studio Tools which I copied and paste from SDK Manager. In Android Studio, as well, I added the path ( I believe the Default file path it is): C:\Program File\GenyMobile\Genymotion I then started the device in Genymotion of my choice , the emulator showed up

Heap not expanding on Genymotion emulator

While resizing large bitmaps for faster image upload to a server I occasionally ran into OutOfMemoryErrors. To prevent this I calculate the required amount of memory and check if it exceeds Runtime.getRuntime().maxMemory() before trying to scale an image. However, I still run into OOM errors even though the image should fit on the heap easily. The emulated device (Galaxy SII API 16) gives me a max memory of 67108864 bytes using the above method. In the following snippet, the heap size is 43975K and only < 15K of that memory is in use. For my ~31K allocation the heap should grow automatically

can I scale genymotion emulator to “device real size”?

I just started using genymotion and I really like it. One thing that is frustrating me is that emulators take a lot of screen space and are contained within scrolling window.. which makes it less convenient to use I tried to change screen resolution or look for some kind of option myself but with no luck is there "scale to real device size" option like in sdk emulator? UPDATE when I start genymotion binary, get the following in the console ~/coding/genymotion$ sudo ./genymotion Genymotion log file: /home/u238/.Genymobile/genymotion.log Player log file: /home/u238/.Genymobile/genymotion-player

Funny thing - I've always been shutting it down by closing emulator's window (X in upper-right corner, yes). Now I somehow got interested if nothing is corrupted in emulator during that. Surprisingly, nothing could be googled about that. I have the same problem (Windows 8.1, GenyMotion 2.1.1), and I sent an email to GenyMotion.

问题 One day I tried to launch a Genymotion virtual device and got: Everything used to work fine. I haven't done any update. I use Genymotion 2.3.1 and Oracle VirtualBox 4.3.12 on Windows 7 SP1 x64 Ultimate. What could have caused the issue to arise, and how to fix it? My configuration: When I tried to launch the VM from VirtualBox, I get: Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Samsung Galaxy S5 - 4.4.4 - API 19 - 1080x1920. The VM session was closed before any attempt to power it on.

问题 I have built an apk file using ionic cordova build android . And I have opened that app using Genymotion emulator. When I opened the app, it starts and displays the splash screen. I am using a genymotion emualator and I cant see anything from the filemanager in my project's data folder. Is there any way to view my database from the genymotion shell ?
