Flex: Simulate key press

泪湿孤枕 提交于 2020-01-01 15:03:09
问题 I'm creating a virtual keyboard for a touchscreen Flex app and i'm trying to simulate a key press by dispatching a KeyboardEvent. I've written a handler function to listen for the event and act accordingly. So far so good... but it's starting to get complicated as i have to manage the focused textInputs (easy), the cursor position in those fields (not to so easy), etc. Now, if only there was a way to actually dispatch a KeyboardEvent that Flex would actually interpret as a genuine key press

Optionally use Flash 10.2 cursors, while still being compatible with Flash 10.0?

问题 I have a Flash application that requires Flash version 10.0 to run. I want to add native mouse cursors, which were introduced in Flash 10.2, but I don't want to require all my users to upgrade, and I don't want to have to compile two separate versions of my app. Is there any way at runtime I can detect if the cursors are available, and then use them? It seems like if you only compile for Flash 10.0, it marks the SWF version header "10", and you have no access to the new APIs. And if you

Building an iOS app with Adobe Flex Builder - Performance Issues

问题 I'm building an app for iOS with Adobe Flex builder and compiling it into an .ipa using Adobe's tools. Through initial testing, I see that the end result isn't as rich as native code, nor is it as fast or smooth. Without simply saying 'why dont you just use objective-c', are there any documentation as to the overhead to building an app this way? Specifically, what kind of performance hit can you expect when using Adobe's platform instead? 回答1: Make sure you are using the latest AIR 3.0 SDK

How do I ping from Flex - AIR?

问题 I'm bored cause my development server is down and I'm running the command prompt to ping the server indefinitely so that I'll see when they stop timing out and know that I can work again. In the meantime I wanted to make an Air app that will do this for me, so I can have it chirp or alarm or do something when it starts to be able to connect to the server. So I need to start with having AIR do the ping, does anyone know how to do this? I can't find any help on it. I can't use the HTTPService

FlashDevelop - Why does code-completion not work with mx.controls

问题 Today's my first day with Flex and FlashDevelop. In my ActionScript file, I have this line. import flash.display.SimpleButton; FlashDevelop is aware about this and Code-completion works fine. But, when I have this line. import mx.controls.Button; Then code-completion doesn't work. 回答1: Works perfectly well for me w/o doing anything special. But maybe your project's properties got borked. Do this: Open Project Properties Go to Compiler Options tab In Advanced -> Intrinsic Libraries add the

Set JSON content-type on s:HttpService in flex

问题 I am trying to set the json content type on httpservice to make REST service return the json data. When I add the content type in fiddler all works fine so the problem lays in flex application, not in the web-service. But the code below does not work and I get the xml data instead of json. Could anyone provide me the workaround/solution? mxml: <s:HTTPService id="service" method="POST" url="server.com" result="loaded(event)" fault="fault(event)" useProxy="false" resultFormat="text">

actionscript (flex): how to know whether a property of object exists (or defined)?

问题 I am a Java developer who tries Flex. Here is my problem: I behave actionScript objects as hashmap but when the object do not have the property it gives exception: No such variable. Here I expect it gave me null, instead of giving exception. So do you know is there a way to handle it, namely check if the property is defined for object. trace( obj["2008-02"] ) // gives exception 回答1: Use something along the lines of if (myObject.hasOwnProperty("propertyName")) to check if the property exists.

Best way for Flex to communicate with C# backend?

问题 What is the best way for flex frontend to communicate with backend writted in C#? The only communication channel in HTTP, so no custom sockets. I used SOAP in the past, but am concerned about performance since the large overhead of xml, and this application I'm currently working on will be pretty data intensive. Anything that supports easy setup and transparent marshaling/unmarshaling is OK. Is there something as BlazeDS for .net? 回答1: I found a few options by googling AMF .NET and AMF C#

Recording Audio through RTMP/Rails

问题 I am in the process of building a rails/flex application which requires audio to be recorded and then stored in our amazon s3 account. I have found no alternative to using some form of RTMP server for recording audio through flash, but our hosting environment will not allow us to install anything like FMS, Red5, etc. Is there any existing Ruby/Rails RTMP solution that will allow audio recording? If not, is it possible for Rails to at least intercept the RTMP stream and then I can hope to
