Is it possible for me to use python to have my computer (Mac or Windows, does not matter) numerical key entries register on a remote machine keypad?

I am building programs using TDD and pytest, and one of them i need to write code (and have the test as well) to ensure that a computer numerical entry (0-9) registers on the re
