Not sure how to approach this somewhat complex problem… I want to make a general solution finder for a real-world application

I believe I\'ve generalized the problem as simple as possible.

Here is what is given:

(1) Dimensions of rectangle.

(2) Mesh/grid dimensions are constant, i.
