HDFS thrift server returns content of local FS, not HDFS

Question

I am accessing HDFS using thrift.

1. This is the expected(and right) content on HDFS.

   [hadoop@hdp-namenode-01 ~]$ hadoop fs -ls /
   Found 3 items
