Changing UISegmentedControl.selectedSegmentIndex not from file owner

Question

I have a .xib with corresponding IBOutlet as

@IBOutlet weak var stateSegmentedControl: UISegmentedControl!
with corresponding IBAction
@IBAction func changeSt
