I would recommend to do 2 things first: 1. Enable error log:

error_reporting(-1);
ini_set('display_errors', 'On');
set_error_handler("var_dump");

2. And change the line where you are sending email

$status = mail($email,$subject,$message,$headers);

 if($status)
   { 
    echo '<p>Your mail has been sent!</p>';
    } else { 
     echo '<p>Something went wrong, Please try again!</p>'; 
  }
