Would SocketTimeoutException close the connection and create a new one if I'm using org.elasticsearch.client.RestClient?

I\'m using org.elasticsearch.client.RestClient which uses org.apache.http.impl.nio.conn.PoolingNHttpClientConnectionManager internally. If there is a SocketTimeoutException
