You can use the C function strtok:
/* strtok example */
#include <stdio.h>
#include <string.h>
int main ()
{
char str[] ="- This, a sample string.";
char * pch;
printf ("Splitting string \"%s\" into tokens:\n",str);
pch = strtok (str," ,.-");
while (pch != NULL)
{
printf ("%s\n",pch);
pch = strtok (NULL, " ,.-");
}
return 0;
}
The Boost Tokenizer will also do the job:
#include<iostream>
#include<boost/tokenizer.hpp>
#include<string>
int main(){
using namespace std;
using namespace boost;
string s = "This is, a test";
tokenizer<> tok(s);
for(tokenizer<>::iterator beg=tok.begin(); beg!=tok.end();++beg){
cout << *beg << "\n";
}
}
