Pandas - interpolate over values in index

Question

I have the following Pandas dataframe:

       a0     a1      a2      a3
0.2  0.46  15.85  124.06 -380.04
0.4  0.21  28.20  -53.17   87.97
0.6  1.10  -5.55  16
