How can I copy a text from terminal of the EC2 Ubuntu machine to an external/local machine?

Is there any shortcut for performing this action. I tried Ctrl+Shift+C, right clicking with mouse(as in Lightsail), etc. However, I hadn\'t succeeded yet. Thanks from now...
