You already had this code:

NSError *error = nil;
NSArray *fetchedObjects = 
    [[self managedObjectContext] executeFetchRequest:fetchRequest error:&error];

So all you need is to keep going (without the breakpoint) and allow the error to log itself:

if (!fetchedObjects)
    NSLog(@"%@", error.localizedDescription);
