public boolean isFullScreen() {
    int flg = getWindow().getAttributes().flags;
    boolean flag = false;       
    if ((flg & WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_FULLSCREEN) == WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_FULLSCREEN) {
        flag = true;
    }
    return flag;
}

Simple, but works!
